Our App and services are designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect:

• User accounts or login credentials (the App requires no sign-in)

• Device identifiers for advertising purposes

Files You Upload

When you use our services to convert documents, your files are:

• Transmitted securely via HTTPS to our processing servers
• Used solely for the purpose of performing the requested conversion
• Automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of upload
• Never shared with third parties
• Never used for training AI models or any other purpose

Purchase Information

If you make a purchase through the App (subscriptions or single conversions), all payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information such as credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID details. We only receive a confirmation that a valid purchase was made.

API Usage (chargedapi.com)

For users of our web API service at chargedapi.com, we collect:

• Email address (for account creation and communication)
• API usage logs (number of requests, endpoints used)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card details)

2. How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used solely to:

• Process your document conversions
• Provide and maintain our services
• Manage API accounts and usage limits
• Send important service updates (API users only)
• Respond to support requests

3. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

• All file transfers use TLS/HTTPS encryption
• Uploaded files are stored temporarily on secure AWS servers
• Files are automatically deleted within 24 hours
• We do not create backups of your uploaded files
• App preferences are stored locally on your device only

4. Third-Party Services

Our services use the following third-party providers:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud infrastructure for file processing
• Apple App Store: App distribution and in-app purchase processing
• Stripe: Payment processing for API subscriptions (web only)
• Anthropic (Claude AI): AI-powered document analysis and slide generation

Each third-party provider has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

5. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

• Uploaded files: Deleted within 24 hours
• API account data: Retained while your account is active; deleted upon request
• App data: Stored locally on your device; deleted when you uninstall the App

Since our App does not collect personal data, there is typically no data to request or delete for App-only users.
